This course is designed for WinEst Administrators and Estimators aiming to improve their Estimating solution deployment. This class is ideal for those who will be making decisions regarding implementation and configuration of their WinEst Estimating solution.
This is a very technical course and designed for those who will be implementing the WinEst solution. It is expected that attendees are experienced, advanced users of WinEst and are comfortable with installing software, basic scripting concepts, and building databases.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Setup WinEst in a live environment
- Create and maintain WinEst databases
- Build assemblies
- Configure the WinEst User Interface to maximize usability
- WinEst Introduction Course
- A comprehensive understanding of computers and Microsoft Windows is essential to this course
- Basic knowledge of software programming workflows and familiarity with a programming or scripting language is highly recommended
Ken Regier has over 20 years of construction industry experience. He worked as a general contractor, technical support for WinEst, Professional Services manager, and is now the Learning Solutions consultant for WinEst at Trimble.
You will be assigned a login to a virtual machine in our training environment, so you must have a computer with Windows OS or access to Remote Desktop Connection.
