Vista Accounting Certification Workshop (VILT)

FOR VIEWPOINT AUTHORIZED BUSINESS PARTNERS ONLY (NON-CUSTOMER CLASS).


This multi-day certification course focuses on the Vista Accounting and Administration modules. The class pairs hands-on instruction with observation and lab exercises. Each day the students will receive instruction on the concepts and options that are used to configure Vista, and will work through assigned lab work to practice skills learned in class, with time to ask the instructor questions.


This workshop will focus on the following Vista functions:

  • AP – Accounts Payable
  • AR – Accounts Receivable
  • CM – Cash Management
  • DM – Document Management
  • GL – General Ledger
  • HQ – Headquarters
  • HR – Human Resources
  • IM – Imports
  • JB – Job Billing
  • JC – Job Cost
  • PO – Purchase Orders
  • PR – Payroll
  • SL – Subcontracts
  • VA – Viewpoint Administration
  • WF - Workflow


Course Objectives:

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

      • Understand Vista accounting concepts and processes from the customer’s perspective

      • Understand Vista accounting concepts and processes from the consultant’s perspective

      • Successfully configure and utilize accounting components of Vista
